Peregrine has exceptional relationships with commercial banks, investment bankers, private equity firms and other financial services entities that are a prime source of capital for businesses from start-up to large multinational corporations. A partial listing of firms with which we have worked closely is included under the caption “Alliances”.
Debt Capital – Commercial Banks
The founder of Peregrine has successfully engaged with both large and small commercial banks and other similar financial service firms over a long career as CFO of global corporations, both private and public. His background has provided specific experience in the following types of transactions.
- Revolving commercial lines of credit for working capital, letters of credit and bank guarantees
- Asset based lending for capital expenditures
- Real estate financing for numerous properties utilized for production, office space and commercial real estate investment or development
- Merger and Acquisition financing for growth
Peregrine also maintains close relationships with “work out” or troubled asset departments of major commercial banks. Consequently these associations are a prime source of business for turnaround engagements that have resulted retirement or restructure of outstanding debt by firms in default of covenants. Peregrine achievements in turnaround/restructure provide substantial creditability with these banks.
Equity Capital – Private Equity Investment
Peregrine has a long history of successful interaction with private equity firms both in the US and internationally. This has resulted in the following:
- A source of new equity investment for growth for existing Peregrine clients
- Profitable “exit strategy” for current ownership
- Turnaround engagements to improve performance of existing private equity portfolio assets
- Due diligence prior to potential private equity acquisition or divestiture
